Endocytosis is defined as the process by which the single celled organism takes the molecule by engulfing it along with the membrane . It the process of eating. Endocytosis is done by a single celled organism and it occurs in amoeba.  

EXPLANATION:

Single celled organism used to eat through it. The food which is outside the organism is circled by the organism membrane and then slowly it is bud off inside the membrane of the organism or amoeba.
