it is a cell organelle which is present in both animal and plant cell . it's occur in three forms : cisternae , vesicles and tubules . it's function is that it provides skeleton framework to the cell . it provides a path for distribution of nuclear material from one cell wall to another.
this answer cant be in simple language that the a network of membranous tubules within the cytoplasm of a eukaryotic cell continous with nuckear membrane it usually has ribosome attached to it involved protein and lipsid soln
