Energy. physics. Energy, in physics, the capacity for doing work. It may exist in potential, kinetic, thermal, electrical, chemical, nuclear, or other various forms. There are, moreover, heat and work—i.e., energy in the process of transfer from one body to another.

Mostly it is used in science to describe how much potential a physical system has to change. In physics, energy  is a property of matter and space, objects and fields. It can be transferred between objects and can also be converted in form.

Energy exists in several forms such as heat, kinetic or mechanical energy light, potential energy, and electricalenergy. Heat - Heat or thermal energyis energy from the movement of atoms or molecules. It may be considered asenergy relating to temperature. KineticEnergy  Kinetic energy is the energy of motion.
