Environment is classified as external and internal because organisations works within the framework provided by the various elements of society.
All such elements which lie outside the organisation are called external environment. Elements in the external environment consume the organisation's output and provide inputs like raw materials, employee resources and technology.
Environmental pollution :
After independence, Indian cities have expanded specially to accommodate the growing population and increasing economic activities. Absence of legal control has also increased many air water polluting industries being set up in urban area. The greatest problem that these industries are creating is that of air pollution. Their emission are seriously affecting the health of workers and local residents. More than 60,000 deaths are taking place in Indian cities every year because of air pollution.
