Merocrine or epocrine gland are also called as the epicrine gland whose secretions are exocytosis and the material that is secreted from these glands is watery most of the times. These secretions diffuses out of the cells without providing any kind of the damage to the cell. These are kind of a sweat glands that are found under the skin in very large numbers.
