Epiphyllous refers to a condition where two different things fuse together. In Epiphyllous condition, stamens get connected to the petals and hence, it seems as if they are branching out of petals.
The stamens that get fused to petals are known as Epiphyllous stamens. Chisocheton tenuis, a type of tree, shows this condition commonly.
