EQUIPOTENTIAL SURFACE::
It's a surface which has the equal potential energy all over the surface , same at every point on the surface the word itself describes.
EQUI= equal
POTENTIAL=electric potential
SURFACE = on a surface
read it together
equal potential on the surface at every point
simple right !!!

Heyaa folk,
-------------------------------------------------------
Q. What is equipotential suface ?
Ans : Equipotential is a space where every point on it is at the equal i.e. same potential. Hence, At any surface, the equal electric potential on every point of that surface, is called as Equipotential surface. When the work gets done, the equipotential suface on that points is zero. All points on the equipotential surface have same electric potential. The equipotential suface is always perpendicular to the electric field (forming a 90° angle). The equipotential suface needs no work as it forms the perpendicular to the electric field.
Equipotential surface = V = keδ / r

Hope it helps u :)
