Normality. Normality is another way of expressing the concentration of a solution. It is based on an alternate chemical unit ofmass called the equivalent weight. Thenormality of a solution is the concentration expressed as the number of equivalentweights (equivalents) of solute per liter of solution.
hope it helps

Normality (N)= Number of gm. equivalents of solute/volume of solution( liter)

Number of gm. equivalents of solute = w/E =weight of solute/Equivalent weight of solute

N = w / EV(l)..........hope this will help u...........@kundan
