CH3COOH +C2H5OH ---------> CH3C=OOC2H5 + H2O

Here in this reaction CH3COOH is ehanoic acid which reacts with ethanol C2H5 in the presence of sulphuric acid as a catalyst to give ester, CH3C=OOC2H5 (ethyl ethanoate) and water H2O .
