Evaporation is the process by which water changes from a liquid state to a gaseous or vapor state .

FACTORS AFFECTING EVAPORATION ARE :-

1).Increase in surface area :- A substance that has a larger surface area will evaporate faster, as there are more surface molecules per unit of volume that are potentially able to escape.

2).Increase in Wind :- When the flow of wind increases this helps in the evaporation process.

3).Increase in temperature or heat :- Increase in temperature results in evaporation. the higher the temperature of the substance the greater the kinetic energy of the molecules at its surface and therefore the faster the rate of their evaporation.

Hi,
Evaporation is a type of vaporization of a liquid into a gaseous phase that is saturated with evaporating substance. Factors that affect evaporation are:
1)Wind
2)Heat
3)Increase in surface area exposed assists evaporation
4)Nature of liquid
5)Dryness
6)Vapour pressure
