evaporation is a bulk phenomenon which causes cooling
OR
it is a process in which liquid states changes to gaseous state at its atmospheric pressure.
FACTORS THAT EFFECT THE EVAPORATION ARE :-
(1) temperature is directly proportional to evaporation.
(2) surface area-------------------------------------evaporation.
(3) wind -----------------------------------------------evaporation.
(4)humidity is inversely proportional to evaporation.

Evaporation is the process by which liquid changes into vapour form. Factors affecting it:-
1. Surface area- more the surface area, more the rate of evaporation.
2. Humidity- more the humidity, more is the rate of evaporation.
3. Temperature - more the temperature, more will be the rate of evaporation.
4. Wind- more is the speed of wind, more will be the rate of evaporation.
