Evaporation is a phenomina in which a liquid gets converted into vapour with heat. The factors affecting evaporation are following.

1. Surface area

2. Temperature

3. Preassure

4. Windspeed.

5. Humidity

In the evaporation process the water which is converted into water takes out heat from the remaining water. So the evaporation causes cooling. The best example of this is the water contained in earthen pots gets cool in hot sunny season because the earthen pots have small pour frOKm where the evaporated vapour goes out with heat
