good afternoon

  • Evaporation is the process of a substance in a liquid state changing to a gaseous state due to an increase in temperature and/or pressure.

  • Evaporation is a fundamental part of the water cycle and is constantly occurring throughout nature.

  • evaporation causes cooling effect because the heat energy is abosorbed by surrounding particles. When evaporation occurs then than the liquid (mostly water) absorbs all the heat from the surroundings and take it with it and we feel cool.

example:-

  • In summer seasons the water gets cool in a earthen pot because it has fine pores in it through which water seeps out gets evaporated .
