what is exactly synapse and synaptic cleft? dont tell about pre and postsynaptic

a synapse is a gap between any two neuron and at a chemical sunapse,one neuron releases neurotransmitter molecules into a small space and that space is known as synaptic cleft

a synapse is structure that permits a neuron  to pass an electrical or chemical signal to another neuron or to the target efferent cell.

whereas,the space between neurons at a nerve synapse across which a nerve impulse is transmitted by a neurotransmitter — called synaptic cleft or synaptic gap.
