Extinguishing fire is nothing but turning offing the fire. We can extinguish the fire by using water and hand pumps.
But we should not use water for electrical fire. Because the electric current may pass through water and harm us.
We can use carbon dioxide to off the fire as it covers the fire like a blanket and due to heavy weight the fire may get extinguished.
