What is f(–3) for the function f(a) = –2a2 – 5a + 4?

 f( - 3) \\ now \: substitute \: ( - 3) \: in \: the \: place \: of \: a \: in \: the \: \\  equation \\  \\ f(a) =  - 2( - 3) {}^{2}  - 5( - 3) + 4 \\  = ( - 2 \times 9) + 15 + 4 \\  =  - 18 + 19 \\  = 1

Hi mate

Given f(a) = -2a^2-5a+4. .....[1] We have find f(-3). Put a=-3 in equation[1]. Then f(-3)= -2(-3)^2 - 5×(-3)+4.

= (-18)+19=1. Therefore yr answer is 1 .
