Factorisation .

when we factories an algebraic expressions, we write it as a product of factors. these factors may be numbers, algebraic variables, or algebraic expression l.
expression like - 3xy, 5zy, 2x(y+2) are in factor form.

example -
Factorise 6xy - 4y + 6 - 9x
- 6xy - 4y = 2y (3x-2)
- (-9x + 6 = -3(3x) + 3 (2)
= -3(3x-2)
now see
6xy -4y +6 -9x = 6xy - 4y - 9x +6
= 2y (3x-2) - 3 (3x-2)
= (3x-2) (2y -3).

Thanks .

Factorization method :)
Factorising is the reverse of expanding brackets, so it is, for example, putting 2x² + x - 3 into the form (2x + 3)(x - 1). This is an important way of solving quadratic equations. The first step of factorising an expression is to 'take out' any common factors which the terms have.......Hope it helps u a lot
