factorization method is nothing but splitting into factors. in this method you have to know one root. after finding the root you have to divide the polynomial by that root. in the above problem X + 2 is a root because if X equal to minus 2 then FX is equal to zero divide the polynomial bye X + 2 to get equation factorise the equation to get the other roots
