✔️FAIRY TALES:

➡️A fairy tale is a story for children involving magical events and imaginary creatures

➡️like "Cinderella" or "Rumpelstiltskin." If you read a story that begins, "Once upon a time," chances are it's a fairy tale.

✔️FOLKTALES :

➡️A folktale is an old story that's been told again and again, often for generations.

➡️A folktale is a story or legend forming part of an oral tradition.

➡️Goldilocks and the Three Bears would be classified as a type of traditional literature called a folktale.

✔️LEGENDS:

➡️it is a nonhistorical or unverifiable story handed down by tradition from earlier times and popularly accepted as historical.

➡️A legend usually includes an element of truth, or is based on historic facts, but with 'mythical qualities'.

➡️Examples of legends are Ali Baba, the Fountain of Youth, and the Loch Ness Monster.

Hope this helps
