A fruit formed from other parts of the plant as well as well the ovary , especially the receptacle , such as the Strawberry , Fig , Apple , Pineapple , Pears .

★ pollen grains are transferred from the anther of a flower to the stigma.
★ a pollen tube develops when the pollen grains get moisture and nutrients from stigma.
★ two male gametes move to the ova.
★ one male gamete fertilizes the ova and another one fuses with the polar nuclei.
★ after fertilization the ovules become seeds and the ovary becomes fruit.
fruits which are formed of ovary are called true fruits.
fruits which are not formed of ovary are called false fruits.
( these are formed from some surrounding tissues )
examples=> strawberries, pears et cetera.
