a law stating that when the magnetic flux linking a circuit changes, an electromotive force is induced in the circuit proportional to the rate of change of the flux linkage.

Faradays law states that
*When there is a change in magnetic flux linked btwn coil an emf is i.duced .
*Tbe magnitude of emf induced is directly propositional to rate of change in magnetic flux linked with coil.
