What is Fe2oe.xh20 and please explain how it is formed.

different types of valency of Iron (Fe)— 2 and 3. So two types of Fe positive ion are seen — Fe^2+ or Ferrous ion, and Fe^3+ or Ferric ion. When Ferrous ion forms an ionic bond with Oxygen, it is called Ferrous Oxide. And when with Ferric, it is Ferric Oxide. For the unknown number of crystal water to reveal the characteristics of crystal in it, we use xH2O. x may be any natural number and the number of prime compound in it's formula can vary.

One more thing to say, we say it usually 'rust'.

2Fe2O3.3H2O is a very familiar ore of iron, and used in industries too, and also of this type of Ferric Oxide. It is limonite and availability of iron from this ore is nearly 70%.
