Answer:

The increase in glucose levels in the blood, stimulates β cells of pancreas to release insulin. Insulin in turn stimulates the cells of the liver to convert the glucose to glycogen.

As the glucose levels in the blood decreases the production of insulin is stopped.

Next, Glucagon is released by the α cells of pancreas to convert Glycogen to Glucose to meet the energy requirements of the body.

This forward and backward conversion of glucose to Glycogen and Glycogen to Glucose maintains optimum levels of Glucose in the blood.

series of reaction that takes place in our body after a particular similar type of response in the same organ.

Explanation:

  • feedback mechanism can be mutually divided into two types in stock they are positive and negative feedback. An example of negative feedback is that when the secretion of insulin is increased resulting in hypoglycemia when the amount of secretion of insulin is decreased causing normalisation of the blood sugar level
  • on the other hand an example of positive feedback mechanism in our body is the uterus. During childbirth there is contraction of the uterus. This stimulates further contraction of the uterus.
