Feedback Mechanism :

♦ Timing and amount of hormones released by various glands is regulated by a mechanism called feedback mechanism.

♦ It is build up within our body.

For instance,

It is due to this mechanism, pancreases produce more insulin when blood glucose level rises. Insulin decreases glucose level.

Similarly, when blood glucose level falls than normal, pancreases produce more glucagon to increase glucose level in blood.

Thus, feedback mechanism is vital for proper functioning of our endocrine system.

Explanation:

Feedback occurs when outputs of a system are routed back as inputs as part of a chain of cause-and-effect that forms a circuit or loop. The system can then be said to feed back into itself

There are four types of constructive feedback (Middle management) Negative feedback – corrective comments about past behavior. Positive feedback – affirming comments about past behavior. Negative feedforward – corrective comments about future performance. Positive feedforward – affirming comments about future behavior
