female foeticide refers to the Killing of female girl child inside the uterus of the mother this happens a lot in Punjab and Haryana due to one of the rituals the ritual is named as dowry whenever a girl is marriage has to give a lot of money to her to her new home due to which nobody prefer to make a girl child
