First of all, let's see what's female foeticide.

Female foeticide is the evil practice of determining the gender of the fetus (developing embryo in mother's womb) & killing it if it is female before birth.

Now, let's see why people do this.

People do this mainly due to ignorance. Since ages, there is a misconception that girls aren't worthy to be respected & they are unlucky. Thus, people don't want to have girl child. They consider males to be superior than females.

Now, what we can do to eradicate 'female foeticide' ?

The most important thing we can do is to create awareness among people. They must be made to understand the value of female. Women empowerment in every fields has to be encouraged. Everyone must be taught that female foeticide & pre-birth gender determination is a CRIME.
