It is known fact that earth rotates on its axis from west to east.

When the earth rotates any fluid on the earth’s surface experiences deflection. This deflection of fluids towards the left in the southern hemisphere and towards the right in the northern hemisphere is known as the Coriolis force.

Since this theory was developed meteorologist William Ferrel, it is known as Ferrel’s law.

#aNswer {→ Ferrel's law is the law that wind is deflected to the right in the Northern Hemisphere and to the left in the Southern Hemisphere.

Its a geographical law in physics we don't deal with it instead we use coriolis force.

Its relation with corriolis force is as follows..

F= -2(mass)(angular velocity of earth about its axis)x(velocity).
