Filtration is the process of separating suspended solid matter from a liquid, by causing the latter to pass through the pores of some substance, called a filter. The liquid which has passed through the filter is called the filtrate.

ans- Filtration is a physical process by which the solid particles are separated from liquids or gases using a filter or a membrane as a medium that retains solid particles and let the liquid or gases to pass through the membrane or filter.

b-What are the process?

The mixtures are of two main types: 1-homogeneous mixtures

2-heterogeneous mixtures.
