In molecular biology, the flagellar motor switch is a protein complex. In Escherichia coli and Salmonella typhimurium it regulates the direction of flagellar rotation and hence controls swimming behaviour. ... The switch complex comprises at least three proteins - FliG, FliM and FliN.
