Flocculation is the coalescence of colloidal particles in suspension resulting in their aggregation in to larger discrete masses which are often visible to the naked eye.VDRL test is a typical example to this.Antigen antibody reaction can be seen easily as coal particles engaged in the complex.

I hope it will helps you friend

in the colloid chemistry, flocculation refers to process by which fine particulates are caused to clump together into a floc.

the floc than may float to the top of liquid and settle in the bottom of liquid or get filtered by liquid itself.
