Ovary occupy top position than other floral whorls and called superior ovary.

e.g, Mustard.

2) Perigynous flowers:

Ovary and other floral whorls occupies nearly same position and called half- inferior ovary.

e.g, Rose.

3) Eigynous flowers:

Ovary occupies lower position than other floral whorls and called inferior ovary.

e.g, Guava.
