Calyx → It is the outermost whorl of a flower. Calyx and corolla are also called accessory whorls of the flower because they only helps in pollination.
Sepals → Calyx consists of five or more green leaf like sepals which protect the inner parts of flower in the bud stage.
Corolla → Corolla is the second whorl of the flower. It consists of brightly coloured petals which attracts insects birds for pollination.
Androecium → It is the male reproductive whorl. It consists of stamens. Each stamens is formed of a sac-like apical anther with a long slender filament.
Gynoecium → It is the female reproductive part of a flower . It is consist of stigma style and ovary. It is also called to pistil . The ovary contains ovules.
