The frictional force on an object in a fluid depends on its speed with respect to the fluid.

1) With increase in temperature, the viscosity of liquid decreases.

2) The Viscosity of all gases increases with increase in temperature, since the viscosity of a gas is directly proportional to the square root of the absolute temperature. (This result is obtained from kinetic theory of gases)

3) The Viscosity of liquids increases with increase in pressure. But the viscosity of water decreases (anomalous behaviour) whereas the viscosity of gases remain unchanged.
