Foetal ejection reflex is the process of parturition. The signals for parturition originate from the fully developed foetus and placenta which introduce mild uterine contractions (foetal ejection reflex) which leads to the production of oxytocin leading to more contractions and in turn more oxytocin is produced until the baby is ejected out of the birth canal(parturition).
