Assam has very rich cultural heritage. If we need to cite two folk culture of Assam, then Bihu will definitely come first. In Bihu we can find traditional dance form, music, catchy lyrics and faiths of Assamese people of olden era. Another example of folk culture of Assam is various Ballads (known as Malita) being performed or found in various parts.
