A food web is simply a no. of food chains linked together, wherein one organism is eaten up by more than one organism and one organism eats a variety of other organisms.
For example, all primary consumers eat plants.
For example, a grass hopper is eaten up by a frog or it may be eaten up directly by an eagle. An eagle eats a variety of insects.
