A force is any influence that, when unopposed, will change the motion of an object. A force can cause an object with mass to change its velocity, i.e., to accelerate. Force can also be described intuitively as a push or a pull. A force has both magnitude and direction, making it a vector quantity.

Hope it help

Answer:

Force is defined as an external cause that changes or tends to change the state of the body once applied, if the body is in motion it comes to rest and if at rest then will come to motion. It can also cause a change in the direction, shape, size, etc of the body. Example: Pushing or pulling a door by applying force.

Force is a vector quantity which means it has both magnitudes as well as direction. According to Newton's second law, force is stated as the “product of mass and acceleration of a body”.
