Answer:

Force:

push or pull of an object is called force.

Types of force:

1) contact force.

2) non-contact force.

Contact force:

The force which occurs by a direct physical contact between two interacting objects is known as contact force.

e.g- pushing a car.

writing with pen.

holding a book.

Non-contact force:

The force which occurs without any physical contact between two objects is known as a force at a distance or fields force.

e.g- falling an apple from tree.

movement of needle in compass.

Types of Contact force;

1) Muscular force.

force exerted by our body is called muscular force.

2) Frictional force.

Friction is the force that opposes motion between any surfaces that are in contact.

there are four types of frictional force i.e sliding friction, fluid friction, rolling friction, & static friction.

Types of Non-contact force:

1) Magnetic force.

Magnetic Force is a force that attracts certain metal objects towards a magnet.

2) electrostatic force.

Electrostatic force is the force exerted by a charged body on another charged or uncharged body.

3) gravitational force.

When two objects have mass or matter, there exists gravitational force between them.

Effects of force:

1) Force can change of the state of motion of an object and its direction.

2) Force can change the shape, size, of an object.

3) A force can change an object with or without being in contact with it.

4) Force can increase or decrease the speed of motion.

Uses of force:

Force can make a body that is at rest to move. It can stop a moving body or slow it down. It can accelerate the speed of a moving body. It can also change the direction of a moving body along with its shape and size.

Explanation:

》A force is a push or pull upon an object

》Magnetic Force - The types of forces exerted by a magnet on magnetic objects are ‘magnetic forces. Electrostatic Force-The types of forces exerted by all electrically charged bodies on another charged bodies in the universe are ‘electrostatic forces’.Muscular Forces-Muscles functions to produce a resulting force which is known as 'muscular force'. Frictional Forces- When an object changes its state motion, 'frictional force' acts upon.

》Some examples of force are- Gravitational force, Electric force, Magnetic force.
