Types of foces:-

1) contact force- the forces which act on a body either directly or through a connector.

2) non contact force- the force which do not make a direct contact with a body and act through a distance.

> magnetic force- it is the force exerted by a magnet. It is a non contact force.

> muscular force- force exerted by muscles. It is a contact force.

> gravitational force- force of attraction between two objects in the universe.

> frictional force- it acts in a direction to the applied force. It is a contact force.

> electrostatic force- force exerted by a charged body on chrged or uncharged body. It is a non contact force.
