▶Force is that cause which either changes or tends to change the shape, size, dimensions, state of rest, state of motion etc. of an object over which it acts.

✨Force is a push or pull which results in interaction between two bodies

⭐Force is of 2 types :-

⏩If net force is 0 it is balanced force

⏩Non zero force is unbalanced force

#EFFECTS OF FORCE:-

⏩A force can move a body from rest.

⏩ can stop a body from motion.

⏩change the direction of moving body.

⏩ can change the shape and size of a body.

▶The forces are mainly divided on the basis of when it acts.

#The types of forces are given below : -

1. Contact Forces

Examples: Frictional Force, Muscular Force, Force of Tension, etc.

2. Non-contact Forces

Examples: Gravitational Force, Electrostatic Force, Magnetic Force, etc.

  • Force is push or pull acting on a body which tends to change its state of rest or of motion. It is denoted by "F". It has a magnitude and a direction.

Here,

  • " m " = Mass of the body
  • " a " = Acceleration
  • " F " = Force

Unit of Force :-

  • SI unit of force is Newton(N).
  • C.G.S (centimetre gram second) unit of force is Dyne.

Effects of force -

  • Force can change the direction of a moving object.
  • Force can change the shape and size of an object.
  • Force can change the speed of a moving object.
  • Force can change a body′s state of motion or rest.
