In short, a company is a voluntary Association of persons for carrying out some business and sharing the profit therefrom.

Foreign Company:

As per the Section 2(42), Foreign company is a company which is incorporated outside India. Though, it has a place of business in India.

It means that, these companies can conduct any business in India.

Bata India limited, Nestle India limited, Whirlpool Corporation, etc are some of the examples of Foreign Company.
