What is forest do you think it is for useful to protect the forests in our present society and how human life is related to it
Answers
In simple words, forests are large area covered with trees.
Yeah I do think there's a need to protect the forests. Forests are the lungs of our earth. They provide us oxygen. without them, it'll be very difficult for us to survive here. Moreover, forests provide many habitats. If we don't protect them, then it'll destroy their habitats and livelihoods. Not only this, forests also prevent floods and soil erosion.
Human life is related to forests in every way. We can breathe the fresh air and it's only because of forests. We use so many things from forests. from its roots to shoots. everything..
Forests support our ecosystem in every way. So we must conserve forest.
Forests plays a great role in nature.Trees are mankinds lifeline. If they are destroyed, there is no way that human beings can survive. From the oxygen that we breathe in, the food that we eat, to the clothes we wear, we owe it all to the trees. Not only this, trees act as purifiers of air and receptacles of our waste products.
Trees have great economic value too. We get fuel, fodder, timber, medicines and numerous other valuable products from the trees. It is, therefore, not surprising that trees were given great importance in our culture, our tradition, our mythology and legends. The entire Panchatantra revolves around forests and its inhabitants.
We need to conserve our forest and wildlife because;
(i) Conservation preserves the ecological diversity and our life supporting systems -- water , air , soil.
(ii) It also preserves the genetic diversity of plants and animals for better growth of spieces and breeding.
(iii) In agriculture, we are still dependent on traditional crop varities. Fishers too are heavily dependent on the maintenance of aquatic biodiversity.
