Answer:

Fractional distillation:

A method for seperate a mixture into its component parts, or fractions.

Ethanol:

⇒A dangerous  chemical.

Ethanol is a chemical compound.

⇒Its molar mass is 46.07 g/mol.

⇒Its Formula is C_2H_5OH

⇒Its density is 789 kg/m³

⇒Its boiling point is 78.37 °C

Information about fractional distillation of Ethanol:

Ethanol can seperated from a mixture with the help of fractional distillation.

⇒The technique works bcause liquids have their differnt boling ponits.

⇒To seperate a mixture of alchol and water we use technique of fractional distillation.

Remember that:

Ethanol cannot be steam distilled with water because, it is soluble in water.

Fractional Distillation:

★Fractional Distillation is a chemical method of separating compounds.

•In this process a compound is heated, thus vaporizing the liquid constituents and the solids are left behind. Every constituent is called a fraction.

•The solid part maybe called as the residue

•This type of separation is dependant on difference of boiling substances of the substances present in the compound

Fractional Distillation of Ethanol:

★Ethanol vaporizes a temperature lower than that of water.

★Take the solution in a breaker with all the required apparatus.

★On heating, water is vaporized leaving ethanol behind
