Free fall is a phenomenon when an object of certain mass is released from certain height at the initial velocity of 0m/s ,moves down under the influence of gravity and zero air resistance.

It is just an assumption. It can only be made in vaccum which can be made artificially in the complex laboratories. Here only influence of gravity matters . During this phenomena whether the object is too heavy or too light both of them take equal time to reach the ground.
