The term Free Nuclear Division means the cell division, more specifically the mitotic division of karyokinesis (division of nucleus) that is not followed by cytokinesis (division of cytoplasm) .

It arises a multinucleated condition which is called as syncytium.

Example : It can be found in liquid endosperm of coconut.
