Freedom means absence of constraints. In practical life, it means absence of interference in our affairs by others – be it individuals or government.
2) Under the Constitution of India, all citizens have the right to freedom of speech and expression, freedom of assembly in a peaceful manner, free to form associations and unions, move freely throughout the country, can reside in any part of the country, and practice any profession or to carry any occupation, trade, or business.
Child labour has surfaced as a major problem in India. Poor people often make their children work in small factories, restaurants, hotels or houses, in order to support their household. These children do all sorts of menial work and are greatly exploited by their employers. Such children are deprived of both play and education. The Indian Constitution provides for abolition of child labour in any form. However, no amount of legislation can do away with this evil until and unless people are sensitized about this issue.
