Freezing is a very useful option in the spreadsheet option and helps one to freeze certain column. One can scroll through the frozen columns.
When operating in large spreadsheets it allows one to scroll through the frozen first column or row used as 'Titles' or any other cells as reference while working in the spreadsheet.
