Frequency is the number of vibrations made by a particle of the medium in one second. It is denoted by 'f' and S.I. unit is hertz (Hz).

Wavelength is the distance travelled by the wave in one time period of vibration of particle of medium. It is denoted by lambda and S.I. unit is metre (m).

Wave Length : - The Distance Between Two Successive Compressions Or Rarefaction In A Longitudinal Wave Like Sound Is Know As Wave Length.
