HarmanStudy: Frequency is the no of vibrations produced by the particle of medium in one sec. While, wavelength is the distance travelled by the wave in one time period.

Frequency is defined as the no. of vibrations of particles of an object or a medium per unit time.
Wavelength is defined as the distance between two consecutive Compression or two consecutive Rarefactions.

Wavelength is the distance between two identical crests (high points) or trough (low points) in a wave.
