What is Frequency? can we show it in graphical representation of sound wave if yes please explain me?

ramancheema: frequency is the number of waves taken together passing through a point in one second

Frequency in waves is the number of wavelengths produced by the source of sound in one second.

It is the number of times a particle in the medium passes through one of its extreme positions in one second.

In a graphical representation of a sound wave, measure the time taken for one or two or three full waves.  Measure the distance between successive troughs or crests. Divide that by the number of troughs or crests.  That gives the time period.

frequency = 1/ time period.
